Jewish Family Service Association is proud to mark 150 years of strengthening lives and supporting our community.

What a Night to Remember!
JFSA’s 150th Anniversary Celebration was a truly magical evening—one that will forever hold a special place in our hearts and our history. With the incredible support of our JFSA Friends and Family, $3.3 million was raised to support special needs housing, the Cleveland Chesed Center, the Kindness Center, and services to older adults and individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.Guests took an historic walk down memory lane, celebrating JFSA’s many achievements while looking ahead to a future filled with promise and impact. With more than 450 attendees in the room, the atmosphere was electric—filled with energy, meaningful connections, and shared purpose.

  • A toast to nine living Board chairs who attended the event.
  • Remarks from Holocaust survivors George Kronenberg and Erika Gold, who talked about the Holocaust Survivor Legacy Project which documents the pre and post-war experiences of our local survivors.
  • An inspiring performance by the Horvitz YouthAbility Ambassadors sharing the story of JFSA’s beginnings.
  • Live entertainment with musicians Nate Jones and Joe Wheelock. Nate is a JFSA counselor/therapist.
  • A sneak peek at JFSA’s soon-to-be-launched 150 Year History Exhibit.

Our mission remains as true today as it was 150 years ago. JFSA continues to evolve, meeting community need with innovative solutions to life’s challenges so individuals and families can live with dignity and confidence.
