Our delicious meals are delivered to seniors or home bound individuals who cannot shop or prepare meals for themselves. Twice a week, caring volunteers deliver fully cooked meals, ready to heat and prepared with the professional guidance of certified dietitians. All meals are kosher and prepared under strict rabbinic supervision.
What type of meals do you provide?
A full dinner is provided: soup, entrée (beef/chicken/fish), two side dishes, fruit, dessert, bread, margarine and a carton of milk (wrapped separately).
Are the meals fresh or frozen?
They are freshly cooked and delivered refrigerated. They simply need reheating in an oven or microwave.
How will I know what food I will get each day?
Once a month you will receive a menu of the month’s meal selections.
When are the meals delivered?
Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 12pm.
How many meals can I order?
We deliver 2 dinners on Tuesdays and 3 on Thursdays, so you have a choice of ordering 2, 3,or 5 dinners a week.
Can you accommodate special dietary restrictions?
All meals are low sodium. For people with diabetes, meals are approved by a dietitian. People with food allergies can receive a substitute meal, with a physicians order.
What areas do you deliver?
The eastern suburbs of Cuyahoga County.
What is the cost?
$8.91 per meal plus a $2 delivery fee for private pay. Subsidies are available to income eligible individuals through Passport, My Care Ohio and Title III-The Older American Act.
