May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health Awareness Month holds special significance at PLAN. Each year, we highlight speakers and artists who are not defined by their diagnoses, but instead demonstrate resilience, creativity, and excellence in their work. These individuals show what is possible when talent, passion, and perseverance are given space to thrive.
This year, we are proud to feature PLAN member Sam Silverman—musician and artist—in an evening concert performing his suite “Chartres Stained Glass,” as well as some other pieces. The program will also include artwork created by PLAN artists, inspired by Sam’s music, offering a powerful dialogue between sound and visual expression.
