Beginning with the 2017-2018 funding cycle, non-degree seeking students wishing to attend seminary for one year will receive grants from a separate program other than the CFAP. Funds for this special program will come from endowed dollars at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland specifically for this purpose and will be coordinated through the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland.
Initial applications should still be completed online via the JFSA website so that Stone Scholarship funds may also be accessed if appropriate. Applications will be forwarded to the JECC for processing. Individuals studying in Israel at a university or seminary that offers college credits that are transferable to a four year accredited American university will still continue to receive funding through CFAP and not through the Seminary Financial Aid program.
