September 8, 2015 (Beachwood) – Jewish Family Service Association will honor 2015 Anne C. Schwartz Leadership Award Recipient Dr. David Rosenberg at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple on Wednesday, October 14. In his first year serving on the JFSA Board of Directors, Dr. Rosenberg distinguished himself with his tireless energy and commitment to those we serve. He spearheaded efforts to establish a primary health care clinic located within JFSA walls, representing a bold step towards delivering integrated health care to our community’s most vulnerable populations. JFSA is firmly committed to the concept of integrated health care and believes that this new model will be the cornerstone of our future health care system. JFSA’s new clinic, Alyson’s Place, opened its doors in December 2013.
The event will also feature keynote speaker Dr. Jeffrey Brenner, Executive Director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers. He has developed a system that’s tackling two of health care’s most intrinsic problems: cost and quality of care. Celebrated in a New Yorker article, by Dr. Atul Gawande and in an accompanying FRONTLINE documentary, this pioneering practitioner is reinventing the nation’s fragmented and inefficient way of caring for the sick.
VIP tickets can be purchased for $150. General Admission tickets are $60. For questions or to purchase tickets, call Jamie Brown at 216.504.6451 or visit www.jfsa-cleveland.org. Please RSVP no later than October 2. All proceeds benefit JFSA. Kosher dietary laws observed.
