July 29, 2014 (Beachwood) – JFSA is currently recruiting volunteers with a flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle for multiple programs. Drivers are needed to take Holocaust Survivors to and from a weekly socialization program, Europa Café, at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland in Beachwood. Europa Café takes place Wednesdays from 2:00 – 4:00pm. Volunteer drivers can attend the program themselves, or drop off and pick up Survivors. Russian speakers welcome.
Drivers are also needed for JFSA’s Home Delivered Meals program. Volunteer drivers deliver healthy kosher meals to home bound clients on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Volunteers are welcome to deliver meals alone or with a friend.
Both volunteer opportunities offer unique ways to meet new people and give back to the community in a fun and interactive way. If interested, please call Sandy Lusher-Waterhouse at 216.378.3475.
