JFSA Accepting Applications for Berger Scholars Award

(Beachwood) – Jewish Family Service Association is accepting applications for the Jack W. and Shirley Berger Scholars Award. The award was established in 1988 by former Clevelanders to assist and encourage students entering college to attain academic excellence within a secular institution.

Qualifications include:

  • Must exhibit financial need
  • Resident of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Portage or Summit Counties
  • High School Senior
  • Minimum High School GPA of 3.5
  • Minimum SAT 1850 or ACT 28
  • Attend a four year accredited college as a full-time student
  • Seeking a secular education

Students awarded this scholarship  can receive funding of up to $10,000 each up to 4 years of college (totaling $40,000)  if a 3.0 GPA is maintained . For more details, click here.
