How You Can Help

Here is a list of items that we can always use to help families in our program. Please note that we only accept NEW items.

  • stuffed animals
  • school supplies
  • school book bags
  • art supplies
  • games and toys for children (infant - high school)
  • books and children's/family videos

Most shelters and programs such as ours unfortunately do not have the resources to collect, sort, store and distribute the vast amount of used items which may in fact benefit families in need. That is why we work closely with NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women) Thriftique, The Salvation Army, Goodwill, and St. Vincent DePaul so that families in need can shop for the specific items, sizes they need. Our program provides vouchers to the NCJW Thriftique store so in turn we encourage you to make your used donations there. The process of women and children actually going shopping, even at thrift stores, is an important part of empowering them to achieve their goals of abuse free self sufficiency.

For more information, contact NCJW Thriftique at 216.231.6060
