Cast Bios

C.J. Bonde (Jen) is a junior at Brush High School. She has been acting since age 5 and performing professionally since age 7 in a wide variety of venues around the Cleveland area. She recently interned with Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio's Artworks program. This is C.J.'s first year with Expect Respect.

Jana Marie Burkhardt (Advisory Panel) is a sophomore at Willoughby South High School. She is a figure skater, a golfer, an actress and on the principals list at her school. This is Jana's second year with Expect Respect.
Liana Decates (Advisory Panel) attends orange high school as a freshman. Her interests include singing, acting and dancing and she has performed in many professional and community theatre productions in the Ohio/Pennsylvania area. She has also been playing classical piano since age 5 and is the 8-year consecutive winner of the fortnightly piano festival.
Derrick Hann (Andy) is a sophomore at Chagrin Falls High School. This is Derrick’s first year with Expect Respect. His interests include acting, theater, music and Destination Imagination.

Dylan Herts (Ted) is a junior at Hawken High School. He is the state champion in policy debate and an editorial writer for the school newspaper. He also enjoys acting. This is his second year with Expect Respect.

Samantha Imperi (Teach) is in her third year with Expect Respect. A senior at Orange High School, Samantha plays field hockey as well as the flute in the Marching Band, Concert Band and Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony. She also enjoys theatre, knitting and crocheting.

Rachel Kamat (Debbie) is a Junior at Orange High School. She enjoys singing, acting and dancing, and is involved with SADD, the drama club, amensty internationl and the Saltzman Youth panel. This is Rachel's second year acting with Expect Respect.

Sarah Konishi (Christine) is a sophomore at Cleveland Heights High School. She enjoys singing, acting, dancing, lacrosse and field hockey. This is Sarah's first year with Expect Respect.

Nathan Lapin (Advisory Panel) attends Solon High School and enjoys food, sports, computer games, reading the newspaper and helping his sister with her homework. This is his first year with Expect Respect.

Galya Loeb (Christine, Debbie) is a junior at Beachwood High School. She is thrilled to be going into her second year of Expect Respect. She loves performing and taking part in theater around the area and she wishes everyone is Expect Respect another great year!

Kristen McCrae (Teach) is a senior at Shaker Heights High School. She enjoys acting, singing and volleyball. Kristen has spent four years with Expect Respect and has also played the role of Christine.

Taryn Pryor (Jen) is a senior at Charles F. Brush High School who enjoys acting, singing, dancing, reading and travel. Taryn plays both the cello and the piano and is highly involved in my school's Thespian troupe and a Student State Officer of the Ohio Chapter of thespians. This is Taryn’s first year in Expect Respect.

Ben Sala (Phil) is a junior at Hawken School. He enjoys martial arts, sining, dance and football. This is Ben's second year with Expect Respect and he has also played the role of Ted.

Andrew Schaumburg (Phil) is a senior at Brush High School. He thoroughly enjoys acting, writing, and playing music. He is an AP Scholar with Honors and has received the Pride and Recognition Award in Mathematics.  He plans to attend the Ohio State University Honors Program to study political science and mathematics. This is Andrew’s second year in theater and his first with Expect Respect.

Elizabeth Shick (Christine) is a sophomore at Shaker Heights High School. She is a ballroom dancer, girl scout of 11 years and loves theatre. She is in both choir at school and at church and has received a top score in the OMGA voice competition. This is Elizabeth’s first year in Expect Respect.

Ricki Steiner (Teach) attends Fuchs Mizachi School as a junior. She enjoys acting and is also interested in art. This is Ricki's first year with Expect Respect.

Gabi Unterberg (Advisory Panel) is a junior at Fuchs Mizrachi School. She enjoys art, reading, writing and poetry. This is Gabi's first year with Expect Respect and she hopes to continue her involvement next year as well.

Brian Zeilinger (Brian) has been acting in community theatre in the Cleveland area for 12 years. His hobbies include acting, dance, singing, and technical theatre. This is Brian's first year in the cast of Expect Respect, and is thrilled to be working with such a talented group of actors as well as such a brilliant director. Brian is a junior at Hawken School and plans to major in Educational Theatre in college.
