How JFSA Funds are Used

Our success at JFSA is made possible by the ongoing support of people like you. We offer a many ways to give, designed both to meet the unique needs of our clients and to create a meaningful partnership between our generous donors and JFSA as we work together to strengthen our community. With your help, JFSA can continue to give hope to people in need every year. Your donation can directly impact the lives of people in our community.

How to Donate

Checks: Your contribution will be credited to the Annual Campaign unless otherwise indicated. Checks must be postmarked, or delivered in person, by December 31 in order to be eligible for a charitable deduction on income tax returns for that year. Please make checks payable to JFSA and mail your checks to:

Credit Card: JFSA accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Make a credit card gift by phone or make a gift online any time. Credit card gifts must be received by December 31 in order to be eligible for a charitable deduction on income tax returns for that year.
 

Other Ways to Give

Tribute Donations can be made in honor or memory of a colleague, friend, or family member or to celebrate special occasions such as anniversaries, bar or bat mitzvahs, birthdays, graduations, or weddings.
 

Appreciated Securities: Gifts of stock entitle the donor to a tax deduction at the appreciated value of the stock with no capital gains tax. For further information about transferring stock, please contact the Development Office at 216.504.6451.

Corporate Matching Gifts: Many companies offer matching gift programs that multiply the charitable contribution made by their employee. Ask your human resource department for a matching gift form and send it in with your contribution. Visit www.matchinggifts.com to search for matching gift companies.
