Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Provider 

Assists individuals with serious mental illness and those who are dually diagnosed with the development of an individualized comprehensive personal plan and designs a path to achieve these goals. Institutes an illness management and recovery process that encourages independence and reduces crises. Provides practical information, strategies and skills that will achieve the recovery goals. Works with the Community Support Program Services Team in implementing the treatment/service plan. Monitors services provided by other staff and/or agencies in assisting clients towards their goals of independence.
 

Direct Care Provider 

Provides direct care to those with Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in a group home environment. Available positions are very early morning, evening and weekend.
 

Holocaust Program Social Worker 

Provide counseling and case management to a large caseload of Holocaust survivors.

Advocate on behalf of survivors with the Claims Conference, German Consulate, and other Holocaust related organizations.

Identify needy survivors eligible for subsidized services.

Plan and assist with the drop-in center, Europa Café.

Complete required documentation in client records.

Demonstrate awareness of, follows all safety policies and procedures, and adheres to all recommended safe work practices. Also contributes to the control of hazards in specified area of responsibility.

 

Residential Site Manager 

Ensures immediate and efficient delivery of residential/community services to persons with mental retardation/developmental disabilities. Carries out job assignments and reports to Coordinator on a weekly basis. Supervises and teaches DSP staff to understand the needs of people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities to ensure quality services to consumers. The Group Home/Site Manager should embrace the JFSA philosophy and mission: to foster a sense of belonging, nurture informed choices, support self-determination, and create an environment of empowerment for the consumers we serve.
