Refugee & Immigrant Services For
over 130 years, JFSA's Refugee & Immigrant Services department has provided support to people as
they transition to a new life in the United States. Our staff aid
refugees in all phases of the resettlement process including case
management, English tutoring, and preparation for
citizenship.
Case Management
Services include pre-immigration assistance to sponsoring families and
ongoing support for new arrivals for their first two years in the

Translation/Interpretation Services
Our services assist the non English-speaking community and those who
work with them. Our translators are experts in medical, technical, and

Immigration Services Immigrations
consultations, assistance with USCIS applications and official
representation of clients with pending immigration matters at USCIS.

Citizenship
JFSA staff and volunteers from the community assist refugee in their
quest for citizenship by providing ESL/citizenship classes, tutoring,
