HELP-LINE - Peace of Mind for Living Independently

Help-Line is a medical system which enables a person to get emergency help at home. The Help-Line monitoring unit is connected through the existing telephone line. The individual wears a help button, either as a pendant or on a wristband. In an emergency, the subscriber pushes the Help button and a signal is sent to the 24 hour monitoring center at Philips Lifeline. A trained Personal Response Associate will call out to the person to determine what kind of help maybe needed. If the Associate is unable to hear the individual, a family member, neighbor, or the local police or fire department is contacted to assist. If there is a true emergency and the person is transported to a hospital, family is contacted, even if they live out of town. Help-Line provides security and peace of mind for the individual and family. Philips Lifeline is the only medical alert system approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

The Help-Line Monitoring Unit connects to a regular phone line.
The Help-Line button, when pushed, sends a signal through your phone line to a Personal Response Associate.

The Help-Line Cordless Phone also has a number of important features that make it a great phone for you:

  • It has a wide volume range and the newest digital technology for clear sound, which makes it easy to hear

  • It has a comfortable, lightweight handset and large buttons that are easy to see and press, which means that it is easy to dial

  • It has a large and bright display, which means that it is easy to read both Caller ID and the numbers you are dialing

  • It allows Help Calls even if it is left off the hook.

  • And it even works during a power outage
